Quality production
On-farm production is led by Colcom's own world class state of the art unit, Triple C Pigs. With its 2200 sow breeding herd, the unit is operated under stringent bio-security and utilizes the latest genetics and management techniques.
Triple C Pigs has also initiated a comprehensively supported outgrower scheme in various areas, providing profitability and productivity opportunities for communal, small scale and commercial fattening producers in those areas.
They and other producers who also supply Colcom Foods all have to meet rigorous veterinary and animal welfare requirements for accreditation as Zimbabwe Quality Assured Pork (ZQAP) export rated producers.
In-factory production is subject to numerous wide-ranging international and local standards and by-laws governing food processing facilities, procedures and staff.

Colcom Foods pig based products include a comprehensive range of fresh pork, hams, bacons, sausages, pies, cold meats, polonies and canned meats that are marketed under the Colcom brand. Cognisant of differing market requirements a "Value Brand" group of products have also been developed. These are depicted in more detail on this website.
